Witches

(Rough Copy)

Wonderers they call us
Witches they call us
For we go wherever the wind howls
Drinking life's powerful elixirs
And running with the wolves

Sensuality embodies us
As we make love on the meadows
Our bodies undulating like waves
While the forces of nature awaken

We are the wild ones
Born free and unashamed
Our bodies are our temples
Within, a secret key is kept

We enjoy the icy breath of night
And bathe in cold fresh waters
The full moon baptizes us
Its light the shield and armor
That in battle we shall need

It matters not if you forsake us
We are not of this plane
Our souls are old
Our hearts wild and strong

We are nature's protectors
Here to awaken our kind
We are here to help them remember
And together we shall stand

We do not fear what is to come
For within lies fiery tornados
The strength of hurricanes
And the magick of storms

Songs of the ancient ones
Beat rebelliously within our hearts
Within our veins rans free blood
Beloved we are of the Gods

The sun welcomes us
And the night embraces our spirit
We dance with the wind
And commune with the sacred

To us nature exposes her beauty
Her secrets she reveals
Awakening the magick we carry within

As we dance naked by the fire
Powerful lyrics we chant
White owls join us unafraid
Blessing us with their mythical song

They burned the ones before us
Hoping to eradicate their existence
As we join hands and close our eyes
We clearly hear their cries

Their monstrosity had no limits
Tried as they might to break us
Stronger and wiser we stand
This time stronger is our resistance

Protected by primordial forces
Demons and angels are our friends
The elements our allies and guides
It is in us whom they confide

We are witches forged in fire
Carrying within the sacred light
We are magickal witches
And is our time to rise

I passionately believe one person can make a difference. I write from my own experiences and interests. It is my greatest hope that by writing about my own challenges, victories, hopes and learnings, others may feel inspired to believe more in their inner power and to fully embrace themselves!
