Sonnet To My Muse

Words fail to describe my muse
The one who ignites the fire in my spirit
The one for whom each day I live
The one I love
My only muse

Her lips remind me of rose petals
Soft and luscious
Succulent and sweet
I would die for a kiss from her delicious lips

Her beautiful dark hair my fingers ache to touch
Like the waves after a night of storm, her hair undulates
I can't help but breathe its sweet perfume
Scented breeze pours out of her as she dances
Intoxicating every pore of my being

Her body not just flesh but a temple
As it moves, I admire her every curve
When she wraps her veil around me I lose my senses
Don't wake me up from this mysterious trance
Let me live in this moment
Let me die in her arms

Within her there is sweet darkness ready to entice
Within her there is purity of goodness for those in need
Sinner and saint is she
She is my reason to love life

Her strength is but the triumph of her existence
Dragons and angels she commands
But to me is she is divine fire
The Holy Venus rock of ancient pacts
She is the warrior and the lover
She is my reason to love life
And as long as she lives
My inspiration won't die
