Time tries to question your existence
Each day it demands I let you go
It demands for your memory to be dissolved
Yet I am still here, unable to let go

My hands tremble whenever I think of your touch
I can still breathe you in
Your scent still intoxicates my senses
How could I believe we never were?

Your kisses still rest on my lips
bittersweet...
As I wrap my arms around myself
I can feel your touch
I can hear your cries

My mind still plays our movie
My heart still burns with love
Illuminated by the stars
My spirit knows we are not done

The memory of your embrace my safety
Yet time tells me you've forgotten all about us
How can this be,
When you still feel this real to me?

I feel the loneliness you carry within
I can sense the confusion the blinds you 
Your heart like mine aching to reach out
Divided by this veil called life

No matter, I know you exist
I know what we shared still haunts your memory
Although time may demand I forget
As I sit under the moon I can feel you near

I can sense you there
Gently whispering "I still love you"
And I whisper back "No regrets"
I know one day I will see you again
In another plane
In another life.
