What is love?
Is it an action, a feeling, a thought?
Love is what we live for
Love is my heart united with yours
To some love pierces the heart like a swift arrow
To others love comes slowly, like winter to spring
There is no right timing on matters of the heart
The heart knows what it wants long before the mind
It matters not if it is long and serene
Or perhaps expresses itself with fiery passion
To the rational mind love has no particular way
To the spirit within, love is always the right fashion
Whether one or the other, love remains the elixir of life
Resurrecting the spirit to what lies beyond sight
Like a rainstorm to the driest deserts
Love makes us fertile again
Full of joy, passion, sunshine and hope
Sometimes love can be like a lamp on a dark night
Forcing us to trust beyond understanding
Like a gentle friend and powerful mentor
It nudges us to look within
Where magick resides
And the real self-lives!
Love is life and love is death
Death of the old self, which we are too afraid to shed
Death to that which is corrosive to the soul
For love is sweet water of life
Love is sensual...
Love is passion...
Love is feeling...
Love is pure.
